blogs to explore further

I'm always looking for new ideas.  Many of them come to me through this awesome site.

Also, for fun, I want to look more at:

I want to make this!

(Though, I am going to have to think about the amount of sugar... that's a lot! I can sort of see why, but we'll see what I do.  Stay tuned!)

Just like a meatball sandwich

I do this all the time and call it my "meatball sandwich." My husband laughs at me and says I've been plant-based for too long! First, we make this sauce every week so I always have it on hand for smothering broccoli.

Then, I steam some frozen broccoli.

Smother the broccoli and put on a lot of black pepper.
(I heart black pepper!)

Then I put it on a tortilla, roll it, and try to eat it without dripping too much sauce everywhere. I never succeed with not dripping too much.  It's yummy (to me) so I just try not to get it on my shirt.

Honestly, I love it.

Fava Beans!

Two weeks ago.

After our big harvest, shelling, and all the work, we learned that you can pick them earlier and ROAST them whole.  Next year!

(We had 3 rounds of harvest... super fun. At first, I was dubious, but now I am a friend of the fava.)
